I am thrilled to share that Fetch Photo Truck has been featured in the online publication Canvas Rebel! It was an honor to be interviewed and share my insights with their readers. You can view the Canvas Rebel blog post here.
In the interview, I talked about my journey from being a wedding photographer to focusing solely on dog photography in Denver. One of the best investments I made early on with Fetch Photo Truck was seeking out a business coach, Alex Cearns with Houndstooth Studio, who had specific expertise in managing a pet photography studio. It allowed me to hit the ground running with my new adventure.
At Fetch Photo Truck, my mission is to make it easy and fun for pet parents to get artwork of their dogs up in their homes. I have a mobile portrait studio trailer that travels to people’s homes, allowing me to capture their dogs’ genuine personalities in a relaxed environment. The streamlined experience allows dog owners to review the photos the same day as the session, and two weeks later, their artwork is delivered and ready to hang on their walls.
I also shared my thoughts on being a creative and building a social media presence. As someone who values time and seeks meaningful relationships, having ownership of how I choose to use my time is one of the most rewarding aspects of being a creative.
I spoke about the popular current topic of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. When it comes to social media, I have found that being authentic and sharing unpolished opinions and insights resonates with me and my followers. I believe that anyone starting a brand and considering a social media presence should be themselves and focus on creating unique and authentic content.
Overall, being featured in Canvas Rebel is a wonderful recognition of the hard work and passion that goes into every session at Fetch Photo Truck. I am grateful for the opportunity to share my story and insights with their readers and hope that it inspires others to follow their passion and be authentic in their own creative endeavors.

Hi, I’m Ryan Erickson.
I am the owner and photographer of Fetch Photo Truck. I was born and raised in Colorado and love the many adventures it offers me every day. My black Labrador, Henry, is always by my side, ready for belly rubs, really big stretches, and all the fun we can find.
